Calling all boaters. Centreville has moved the marine pump out station to a new home at the transient docking area along the Centreville Wharf Park boardwalk. Whether you have a holding tank, portable, or bucket, the pump out station is a MUST USE to help keep bacteria readings down.
It’s free, it’s easy to use, and it is operational 24/7. Look along the boardwalk, just down from the floating kayak launch dock to find it, and help the town and its watershed partners to continue our clean up efforts. Volunteers from the Corsica River Conservancy and Shore Rivers conduct testing for bacteria and other water quality indicators from Memorial Day until Labor Day at the Town Wharf and the Corsica River Yacht Club.
